  • 3 - 5 November 2004 TIAW Global Partnership Forum 2004 Uncommon Women on Uncommon Ground (Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center Washington, D.C. USA) is focusing on the challenges women face globally, with the belief that it.s timely and even imperative to examine the role of women leaders and to look at how they are redefining leadership in professions, communities and the world at large. Influential women will meet and listen to current and future women leaders from every walk of life and will look at how they can assume a greater leadership role within their lives and businesses.
    IAPBWB President Nina Noeva will be the first speaker from Bulgaria ever to make presentation at one of the most influential international women.s forums. This high recognition of IAPBWB.s activities in Bulgaria and internationally comes to highlight the importance of its leadership role both at home and abroad.

  • 23 May 2003 The IAPBWB participated in the “Successful Services Exporting” Workshop for Service Sector Firms and Associations in the Service Sector (Sofia, May 22, 2003), organised by the Bulgarian Trade Promotion Agency (BTPA) and the International Trade Centre UNCTAD/WTO (ITC) in Geneva aimed at promoting the exports of services in Bulgaria.

  • 27 March 2003 - The IAPBWB takes part in the official launch of the UN Millennium Development Goals Report for Bulgaria. The International Association of Professional and Business Women in Bulgaria (IAPBWB) is explicitly mentioned in the document.
  • 02. 2003 - The IAPBWB establishes working relations with several Bulgarian institutions on issues of mutual interest - empowerment of women, women entrepreneurship, etc.
  • 01.2003 - At its January monthly meeting the IAPBWB decides to expand its project implementation activities;
  • 4-6. 12.2002 - The IAPBWB carries out the first International networking seminar "Professional and Business Women Against Corruption - practical aspects" in Sofia, Bulgaria. ANTICORRUPTION ONLINE web-platform launched: www.anticorruption-online.org
  • 25.11.2002 - The IAPBWB becomes member network of TIAW at the "Global Partnership Forum" in Washington D.C.
  • 19.11.2002 - The Association becomes member of the Central European Initiative network (CEI network)
  • 12.09.2002 -During the South East Economic Forum in Sofia, Bulgaria, the Association established contacts with OPIC officials.
  • 26.09.2002 -The IAPBWB was invited to Parliament to take part in discussion on anticorruption measures
  • 25.09.2002 - The IAPBWB began initial talks with the American Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria (AmCham - Bulgaria) on future co-operation. Both parties are interested in strengthening their future links.
