The International Association of Professional and Business Women in Bulgaria (IAPBWB) organizes in close cooperation with Norwegian partners an international networking seminar on “Professional & Business Women Against Corruption- Practical Aspects”. The seminar will be held on 4-6 December 2002 in Sofia, Bulgaria.

The goals of the seminar are: to increase public awareness in a wider regional dimension of the negative effects of corruption practices, make the voice of professional and business women on this issue heard by the respective authorities and to identify possible practical answers on how to reduce the effects of this detrimental social and economic behaviour, creating an opportunity for business and professional women from South Eastern Europe and wider (Europe, USA) to network and discuss these and other issues of mutual interest.

The IAPBWB applies an integrated approach, intending to bring together Bulgarian and international partners - professional and business women’s associations, government officials, experts and other interested international actors.
